Yamaha Motor Germany and Freizeit- und Ferienpark Fürstenau GmbH will further expand their cooperation in November 2020.
The amusement park known as Fursten Forest is one of the largest off-road parks in Europe. The area between Osnabrück and Meppen covers 400 hectares and is rightly called the meeting point for four-wheeled off-road fans.
For more than seven years, Fursten Forest has trusted ATVs and side-by-sides from the Yamaha brand and offers guided tours and off-road training on the former military training area on Yamaha vehicles.
In November 2020, Yamaha delivered more vehicles – 5 Yamaha Wolverine 850 X2 Side-by-Sides and 10 Yamaha Kodiak 700 ATVs have since enriched the fleet and increased the total number of the Yamaha fleet to 40.
For Timo Schweers, technical manager of the off-road park, expanding the fleet with Yamaha vehicles was a logical step. “Yamaha offers a wide range of products to match the park’s diverse areas of application and scores in all aspects that are important for commercial use. The vehicles are reliable, robust and very durable. Should there be any damage, the spare parts supply is very good. The value retention from Yamaha is great – this fact makes it much easier to sell the vehicles after two years of use. “
“Fursten Forest and Yamaha are a perfect match”, says Sebastian Klein, Manager RVPP & MX at Yamaha Motor Germany. “Fursten Forest is one of the largest off-road parks in Europe and a huge playground for a whole range of our products. With Yamaha off-road vehicles, all customers in this area can have fun, let off steam and push their limits ”.
Since December 2017, a Yamaha Viking equipped with flashing lights and first-aid equipment has been on duty as a “Fast Responder” in the event of an accident in the Fursten Forest.
The delivery of the 10 Kodiak Quads and 5 Wolverine Side-by-Sides took place at the beginning of November by the Yamaha dealer Norbert Schatten, managing director of Zweirad Schatten Shadow Quad GmbH based in Geldern.
