The Matthes company from Gallun was proud to present its conversions. The team led by boss Marcus Matthes equipped and upgraded the robust KIOTI UTVs for use by fire brigades.
In Brandenburg, representatives of the aid organizations and civil protection were able to get an idea of the vehicles and test drive them. The voluntary fire brigades Heidesee and Lieberose benefited from the subsequent tender.
Optimized side-by-sides could be handed over to the firefighters, which not only have the obligatory special signal systems. Additional headlights and light bars illuminate the application scenario. A battery monitor ensures that the vehicle is always ready, which is now on coarser tires in order to further increase its off-road mobility.
The KIOTI K9 are primarily reserved for use in the district’s fire protection unit. They are used as logistics and liaison vehicles. To get to the operational areas, trailers are still being procured for the team vans. Marcus Matthes was able to successfully complete the job despite all the adversities during the pandemic.
