I believe we have a good chance of winning this race, especially with the proven platform of the Can-Am Maverick, which has already won the Dakar.”said Scott Abraham, team principal of South Racing and the Red Bull Can-Am Factory Team. “The foundation of what we are building today with this new team and the development of the youth program will help take the next generation of racers to new heights and South Racing is thrilled to be leading that.”
Working in partnership with Can-Am and South Racing, the Red Bull Off-Road Junior Team program will serve to create a career roadmap for young racers to pursue their goals and dreams at the Dakar Rally. It will identify emerging talent and help them race at regional and national levels before being taken to the international stage. During this process, the young racers are mentored and guided by experienced professional racers. However, the Red Bull Off-Road Junior Team is not limited to just motorsport enthusiasts, they are also looking for future talent in the fields of engineering, mechanics and marketing who can play a crucial role in shaping the future of the racing industry.
