More action than ever before: Camp Polaris & Friends will open its doors again in 2022 in the heart of Germany!
Torgau on the Elbe will once again become a place of pilgrimage for off-road enthusiasts from near and far: On the first weekend in July 2022, the eighth edition of the Camp Polaris & Friends, which is unique in its kind, will take place in the off-road park of the former military area “Am Österreicher”. The largest brand-open off-road festival in Germany has long enjoyed cult status and from 1st to 3rd July will be even more varied and action-packed – and thanks to the earlier date in midsummer with something like a guarantee of good weather. Off-road fans can let off steam with their own vehicles on the challenging terrain and enjoy a particularly diverse and entertaining supporting program with family and friends. The current Polaris model range is also available for getting to know and for test drives.
The 30-hectare site of the off-road park in Elsnig has proven to be the perfect stage for Camp Polaris & Friends in recent years. With its eight-kilometre-long off-road circuit, a wide SxS route, many small individual trails, large and small climbs and various obstacles, the area offers numerous challenges of all levels of difficulty. The varied surfaces – forest paths, sand, rocks and mud – increase the entertainment factor even more. Polaris knows how to use the optimal conditions again this year for a variety of activities where friends of the brand can prove their driving skills and are guaranteed to have a lot of fun.
Exciting off-road challenges for every taste
In the trail challenge It’s all about completing a tricky course with as few mistakes as possible – speed isn’t what counts. Unlike the SxS challenge. The motto here is plain and simple: Full Throttle! Because at certain times, SxS vehicles and buggies are allowed to show what they can do in terms of speed on the very wide autocross track. In the meantime, the ATV and quad fraction is taking a short break for safety reasons or taking the opportunity to prepare for the course specially tailored for ATVs and quads Parcour Challenge to prepare. With its obstacles, it also demands a lot of brains and vehicle control.
Mud Challenge and rock concert create a great atmosphere
One of the highlights again this year is the cult mud challenge Whilst the participants are allowed to “get really dirty” when crossing the two specially prepared mud holes, the smirking spectators are speculating that as many candidates as possible will get stuck – which is guaranteed to bring the atmosphere in the stands to a boil. It’s a good thing that the freely accessible washing area offers all participants in the meeting the opportunity to thoroughly clean their vehicles again in between …
Speaking of bringing the atmosphere to a boil: as a new item on the programme, a concert will take place on the event site on Saturday evening. The Leipzig party rock band “Green Sapphire” will heat up the audience with their repertoire of popular party hits, current chart hits and legendary rock classics.

Weekend tickets can be booked for 40 euros per person www.campolaris.com Reserve. Participants who want to bring their own vehicle can also register it online there. An ATV/Quad ticket costs 35 euros for the entire weekend, UTV/SxS are included for 60 euros each.
As part of Camp Polaris & Friends, participants may use all designated off-road routes. On the children’s quad slope, the youngsters can also experience pure off-road driving fun. The partially covered paddock also includes a snack bar and a shop. Extensive medical care is guaranteed. Participants can camp free of charge on the site throughout the weekend. This also includes the shower facilities and sanitary facilities.
